44 countries will discuss Bitcoin in El Salvador

On Monday, May 16, El Salvador will host a meeting of representatives from 44 countries to discuss the digital economy and bitcoin. This was announced by the President of El Salvador Nayib Buquele, writes RBC Crypto.

Tomorrow, 32 central banks and 12 financial authorities (44 countries) will meet in El Salvador to discuss financial inclusion, digital economy, banking the unbanked, the #Bitcoin rollout and its benefits in our country.

Participants at the meeting include Paraguay, Ghana, Namibia, Madagascar, Jordan, Honduras, Maldives, Pakistan, Costa Rica, Ecuador and others. The Bitcoin Beach Twitter account also wrote on May 13 that representatives from Armenia, Egypt, India, Senegal and other countries were flying to El Salvador.
